DESCRIPTION
Starting as a Mocap Tech in march 2023 I have since taken on Mocap Team lead and have been Running Falmouth's Motion Capture team for from Sept 2023 until June 2024 where I graduated & handed over the torch.
I'm incredibly proud of the team throughout this last year and it has been a pleasure leading the charge. Leading mocap for the University has taught me a lot and we were able to compile all these skills into our end of year project.
Since I took of Team lead we have made astounding progress thanks to the efforts by the whole team. We have since created a Discord server for better communication within the team, set up a Email for professional communication with clients,

Understanding where there are flaws in the mocap system. one of the biggest being communication, up to this point everything was done on teams, which sucks and makes things seem far too professional. i wanted to break that barrier. so while we will still be using teams going forward. discord will be our primary communication in a more relaxed casual sense, allowing to team to bond and lowering the barrier of entry for some.

New Year, New Leads

The start of 3rd year. this is when things really started to kick off. with me and ben being nominated as leads going forward i knew we had limited time if we wanted to expand the mocap team to be the best it can be. First things first was recruiting the now 2nd years to join the team as techs and slowly start thinking about who our successors should be.
